The Nenana Ice Classic appeared to be over Thursday night at about 7 p.m. when the ice rumbled and the bulky log structure painted black and white began to make its way downstream in the Tanana River. But people who guessed that the classic would end on April 23 with the third or fourth earliest breakup since 1917 will have to guess again next year. Comment?
