    Born with a mental disability, Oscar Edwards, 68, of Detroit, has the mind of a child, says his 38-year-old niece, Faatima Evans. He lives a simple life, most of it spent in a recliner where he also sleeps since the roof of the home where he grew up caved in during the heavy rains that caused flooding throughout Detroit last September, said Evans The home is in disarray and needs major repairs -- plumbing, wiring, new drywall and floors -- Evans says.
