    Shuttle bus hits nurse at Dallas Parkland, killing him

    A longtime nurse at Parkland Memorial Hospital was killed Friday morning when he was hit by a shuttle bus as he used a crosswalk near the hospital. Randal Dygert, 61, of Dallas was walking across Harry Hines Boulevard shortly before 7 a.m. when he was struck and dragged 50 yards by the privately owned shuttle, police said.

    Would-be robber shot, crashes into bus stop

    A driver destroyed a Dallas Area Rapid Transit bus stop and died Thursday morning after police said he was shot by a pedestrian he was trying to rob. The man driving in a car approached the other man that was walking in the 7300 block of Chesterfield Drive and tried to rob him, according to police.
