    Ruston teen Jack Lindsey killed in a skiing accident

    The community of Ruston is grieving the death of a young man who died in a skiing accident in Colorado over the weekend. Jack Lindsey graduated from Ruston High School in May and was a first-year cadet at the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs.

    Academy cadet killed in skiing accident

    The U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs announced Monday that one of its cadets has died from injuries sustained in a skiing accident. Cadet 4th Class John Lindsey was pronounced dead Saturday at the scene of the accident at Summit County's Keystone Resort, according to an Academy news release.

    Casa Bonita founder had artistic, business flair

    Bill Waugh, founder of Denver's Casa Bonita Mexican restaurant and other eateries across the Southwest, died at the age of 79 on Tuesday. Waugh, whose restaurants also include the Taco Bueno and Crystal's Pizza chains, Casa Viva, and Burger Street, passed away in hospice care in Dallas, according to an obituary published in the Dallas Morning News.
