    Berlin - BERLIN - Mary L. Tervo, 71, of Berlin, passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by her loving family on Friday, March 27, 2015, following a courageous battle against endometrial cancer. She leaves her husband of 53 years, Robert L. Tervo, Sr.; two daughters: Paula M. Tervo; Marybeth Tervo-McDonald and her husband, James; and son: Robert L. Tervo, Jr. and his wife, Judith, all of Clinton; seven grandchildren Tiffany Tervo and her husband, TJ Wilson, Robert III, Justin and Bradley Tervo, Michael Paul Coughlin, and Meaghan and Kelcie McDonald; and two great-grandchildren: William and Emily.

    She was born in Needham, the daughter of the late William T. and Margaret T. Wilson Sr. She was an active parishioner of St. Joseph the Good Provider Parish, in Berlin, where she served as a Eucharistic minister. Throughout her life, she was an advocate for the poor and less fortunate through her active participation with many organizations, including Meals on Wheels, soup kitchens and many prayer groups.

Santangelo of Leominster; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends, most notably, her co-guardian Debbie Price of Framingham and Mary Regan of Leominster.

Born and raised in Clinton, Mrs. Szymkiewicz was the daughter of Charles E. and Louise Sargent and lived 43 years in Sterling before moving to West Boylston in 1992.

    Wellesley is mourning the loss of Ruth M. von Kelsch , at 101 years, on March 11, whose dedication to the town included working as a secretary at Wellesley Town Hall and later as a secretary at the Wellesley Middle School Curriculum Center. She served as a Wellesley Town Meeting member for over 25 years, and was a fixture at the polls at every town election.
