    Lions finish second in Lori Bourn tournament

    A third-quarter blitz by Quabbin Regional was too much for the West Boylston High School girls basketball team to overcome last Wednesday night in the championship game of the fourth annual Lori Bourn memorial tournament. Before a large crowd, the Lions, a Division 4 squad, dropped a 52-38 decision to the Division 2 Panthers in the final game of the regular season for both teams.

    Four, so far, show interest in being a selectmen in ...

    While the municipal election is still more than three months away, the race for West Boylston selectmen already has multiple residents showing interest in two open seats. West Boylston's election is Tuesday, June 2. The last day to obtain nomination papers from the town clerk is Friday, April 10. So far, four men have pulled papers for the three-year posts, including incumbent John Hadley.
