    Cliffon Johnson, 28, has been charged with murder in a shooting that took place about 11:40 p.m. Friday in the 5400 block of South Hoyne Avenue, police said. The victim, Charles Wright, 39, of the 3100 block of West 71st Street, was pronounced dead at 12:35 a.m. Saturday at Mount Sinai... Kathy Laudando, who owns the 20-year-old business at 7508 W. Grand Ave., Elmwood Park, along with her mother, Josephine Savarino, said she decided to put on the event since Fashion Week and Breast Cancer Awareness Month take place in October.

    October 12, 2014: The names of more than 8,000 people who may have died penniless or without family in the long forgotten Cook County Cemetery have been rediscovered and are now available free to the public. The Cook County Cemetery was located at what is now the intersection of Irving Park Road and Narragansett Avenue on Chicago's Northwest Side between 1861-1922.
