    Husband of U.S. Rep. Cynthia Lummis has died; Condol...

    U.S. Representative Cynthia Lummis issued the following statement regarding the death of her husband Alvin Wiederspahn over the weekend: "My husband Al passed away peacefully in his sleep in our home in Cheyenne. Annaliese and I know that God has taken Al home to Heaven, but right now our hearts are broken."

    Wyoming rep's husband dies at 65

    The husband of Rep. Cynthia Lummis has died at the age of 65, according to The Associated Press . The news service reports that a funeral director in Cheyenne, Wyo., confirmed the death of Alvin Wiederspahn but said she did not know how he died.

    Alvin Wiederspahn, Cynthia Lummis' Husband, Dies

    Alvin Wiederspahn, a former Wyoming state legislator and the husband of U.S. Rep. Cynthia Lummis, has died at age 65. Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel of the Chimes funeral director Amy Peterson confirmed Wiederspahn's death and says arrangements are being handled by the funeral home his parents started. Cheyenne police spokesman Dan Long says that Wiederspahn was found dead Friday afternoon and that no foul play is suspected.

    Wyoming federal judge Clarence Brimmer dies at 92

    Witness: Wyoming shooting victim begged for life

    CHEYENNE, Wyo. - A Wyoming man with a gunshot wound to his stomach was on his knees begging for his life when a 16-year-old who had opened fire into a group of teens shot him in the head at point-blank range, Laramie County prosecutors said.
