    Harley G. Jacobs (1926-2015): Luckey resident tried ...

    Harley G. Jacobs, a longtime mayor of the Wood County village of Luckey who once brought his town's "luck" to the Toledo Mud Hens, died Friday at Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center. He was 88. Mr. Jacobs, who served as mayor for more than 30 years, died from injuries he suffered in a Feb. 5 automobile crash that also claimed the lives of his wife, Donna, 85; his daughter, Diane Jacobs, 64, and her husband, Kenneth Johnston, 71. "He had a very good sense of humor - a lot of good, clean fun," his daughter, Sue Glass, said.
