    Antique lover founded vintage hardware legacy

    He and his wife moved to Central Florida in 1985 and set up shop at Renninger's Antique Center in Mount Dora for what became a 29-year run. After returning from two years in the Navy during World War II, he began to collect things around his home in Binghamton, N.Y. "His passion grew and grew," to the point that "if you said The Hardware Man, people automatically knew you were talking about George Baker," said his granddaughter, Julia Palomino of Eustis.

The county has budgeted more than a half-million dollars in each of the past five years to the program, which reimburses county funeral homes for certain costs associated with funerals for people who fall below an income and asset threshold.

Autopsy results released Tuesday show David M. Cady Jr. died of a self-inflicted gunshot during an armed standoff with police last week, according to the Tompkins County Sheriff's Office.

    Ronald F. Wunder, 75, of Seymour, died Saturday, Dec. 27, 2014, at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Adrene Sharon Boening Wunder; children, Mark Wunder of Louisville, Kentucky, Ronda Cain of Seymour and Greg Wunder of Binghamton, New York; eight grandchildren; and a brother, Marv Wunder of Pewaukee, Wisconsin.
