    Funeral arrangements finalized for Little Jimmy Dickens

    Fans of Little Jimmy Dickens, a Grand Ole Opry legend and West Virginia native, will be part of funeral services for him this week following his death on Jan. 2 at the age of 94. According to The Tennessean, a public visitation for Dickens will be held from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Woodlawn Roesch-Patton Funeral Home & Memorial Park in Nashville. On Thursday, a public Celebration of Life service is set for 11 a.m. at the Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville.

    Little Jimmy Dickens dead at 94

    Grand Ole Opry legend Little Jimmy Dickens has died at the age of 94. Dickens suffered a cardiac arrest following a stroke. Dickens had been a member of the Grand Ole Opry since 1948 and in 1983 was inducted into the Country Hall of Fame.

    Linda Diana Beebe, 67, of Normal passed away at 12:38 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 31, 2014, at Sugar Creek Alzheimer Special Care Center in Normal. Linda was born Jan. 21, 1947, in Spring Valley, the daughter of Robert W. and Sylvia I. Lewis Huffstodt.
