    A North Carolina state government electrician who died this week after a job-related accident is being remembered by his family and friends. State officials say Rue was setting up an aerial lift Monday morning outside the state archives building in downtown Raleigh when the lift toppled upon him.

    NC state employees injured by falling lift has died

    The North Carolina government employee whom state officials say was injured when equipment fell on him outside the state archives building in downtown Raleigh has died. The Department of Administration said Wednesday that 63-year-old Robert "Hal" Rue of Willow Springs died Tuesday evening at WakeMed hospital in Raleigh.
