    Ray Jeoffroy loved to shoot homemade film - family gatherings, activities around town, it didn't matter. He often took his 16mm camera with him on the road; he was on the road a lot selling the Jeoffroy plow, a 12-shank chisel plow manufactured by his family in Amarillo.

    DA: prosecutors pondering capital murder in Amarillo...

    Randall County prosecutors filed a murder charge Thursday against a 25-year-old Amarillo man in the death of his infant son who died Wednesday at an Amarillo hospital. Randall County Criminal District Attorney James Farren said prosecutors filed a murder charge against Jose Tedoro Flores, 25, after Flores admitted to conduct that injured the child.

    St. John's United Methodist Church will celebrate its 75th anniversary on Feb. 15 with morning services at 10:30 a.m., followed by a free luncheon and additional programming at the McKenzie-Merket Alumni Center. St. John's, now located at 1501 University Ave. and directly across the street from Texas Tech, was envisioned as a general congregation that could also serve students and faculty.
