Here's another highway terrotist on our roads wake up ny then I read the breaking news in the Times Union on Sweeney and I can not believe that his attorney said that he is a private person and this is a private matter. Well I beg to differ, when you drive drunk on our highways and streets and could possibly kill me or my children, which a drunk driver did to my son Frank Thomas in May its not very private or personal matter is it. Do they actually think that we the lower than them people (in there eyes) doesn't exist or actually doesn't matter in there private and personal life.
Well he (Sweeney ) should of thought about that when he got behind his weapon and pointed it at anything that could have gotten in his private life. How obnoxious that sounded and I hope the justice system looks into that statement further. If the capital doesn't see how bad the drunk driving in NYS is we are all living a roulette game when we get in our cars everyday. I am only one person trying to change laws and I need help from the residents of NYS to reach out to the lawmakers and stop the highway terrorists. They want to give out more licenses and can't even handle the ones that are already legally driving as American citizens. This is the second lawmaker or ex lawmaker in the past few months that got caught drunk driving in Albany,someone really needs to give some answers at this point. Do you think that they are waiting for something to happen to one of them or a family member of the lawmakers by a drunk driver before they change the laws for the better. Too bad if so. This shouldn't be political but it is and they are playing with many lives and the blood is on there hands now for just turning there cheeks and look away. I went to the capital on October 22nd and have heard nothing since. They might think I will just go away but the problem won't it is in there face almost daily. Shame on them.
