Red Wings, DeKeyser agree to 2-year deal

Detroit, MI - The Red Wings and restricted free agent defenseman Danny DeKeyser agreed to terms on a two-year contract on Tuesday. The 24-year-old Michigan native participated in 65 games last season, totaling four goals and 19 assists with a plus-10 rating.

New renderings of Detroit Red Wings arena development released as project inches toward construction

The Downtown Development Authority on Tuesday worked through a series of steps toward building a 785,000 square-foot hockey arena for the Detroit Red Wings and a surrounding, 45-block entertainment district. The authority board approved plans for a pair of 30-year bond sales to fund the $450-million, 20,000-seat arena.

Prospect Tournament: Practice Updates And New Lines

The loss to the Blue Jackets Saturday night was a tough one, not only because the team played better than they did in their overtime win over the Blues , but because it all but eliminates them from winning the tournament.
