Red Wings prospects tournament: Brandon Robinson's injury overshadows Detroit win

Prospect Tournament: Practice Updates And New Lines

The loss to the Blue Jackets Saturday night was a tough one, not only because the team played better than they did in their overtime win over the Blues , but because it all but eliminates them from winning the tournament. MLive.com The prospects tournament allows not only for the coaches to become more acclimated with the players, but, for the players to become more used to the abilities of other players as well. If a group of players develop chemistry during the prospects tournament, why dissolve that chemistry? The Left Wing Lock Personally, I still favor Sproul and Ouellet over BA ckman and Marchenko.

Blashill is entering his third season as the Griffins head coach and while he's coaching the Red Wings he's also thinking about some of the players who might be suiting up for him in the AHL this season.
