For the 2013-14 season I offered up 22 tongue-in-cheek reasons why the Detroit Red Wings would fall short of making the playoffs and end the impressive consecutive playoff streak at 22 seasons. They admirably proved me wrong and kept the playoff tradition alive in Hockeytown.
