Flames prospects win two of three in Young Stars Classic

According to the Calgary Flames website , the Calgary Flames defeated the Vancouver Canucks 6-1 at the Young Stars Classic in Penticton, British Columbia on Monday. With the victory in the rookie tournament, the Flames finished with a record of two wins and one loss.

Baby Jets done in by 'D'

Nobody wants to throw the baby Jets out with the bathwater but... the future and present had a collision on Friday in that defence was a challenge that held them back. The Winnipeg Jets prospects charged to leads of 3-1 and 4-2 in the second period of Friday's opener of the Canucks Young Stars Classic tournament at the South Okanagan Events Centre but were unable to contain the hopefuls from the Calgary Flames, who posted a 6-4 victory.
