Fomer President Obasanjo Visits Son in Jos
Former President Olusegun Obasanjo, Saturday visited his son, Lt Colonel Adeboye Obasanjo, in his private residence along Wase Road, Jos Plateau State. The junior Obasanjo, who has just recuperated from an injury he sustained during a military campaign to recover Michika from Boko Haram terrorist group in Adamawa State, left the hospital for his father's residence in Jos on Thursday afternoon after he was certified fit for discharge by his doctor.

Institute to release new wheat varieties in December
The Lake Chad Research Institute in Maiduguri says it will release two new wheat varieties that can yield six tonnes of wheat per hectare in December. The improved varieties have been proven to garner more yields per hectare compared to the one-tonne yield per hectare of the conventional wheat seeds in the country.
