Wow since when did Charlie Brown become more important then sending our troops off to war? I'm sure our men and women in the service would love to know the support Mayor Wiseman has for them. I am ashamed to have Wiseman as my mayor. I served my country for 8 yrs and honestly my Commander and Chief is welcome to interrupt any tv program he wants. Thanks for your support Mayor Wiseman.

So let me get this straight... the argument that Mayor Wiseman is racist stems from his "landowner" comment. Who is the racist here? All you liberals are inferring that "landowners" are white. I personally have many friends of all races who are property owners. SO I ASK AGAIN......(and i'll speak slowly for you racist liberal idiots) HOW THE H@#$ ARE THESE COMMENTS MADE BY THIS MAN RACIST??????????

The question is why in the heck did it take Obama so long to decide to send more troops, where is Obamas support for our troops. He has none. Obama put his General in charge but when it was time to step up and do what the man said Obama blinks, gosh I hope he doesnt have to answer one of those 3 AM calls.

What ever happened to Freedom of Speech? Isn't that what the Loud Mouth from the Dixie Chicks was allowed this week for stating the step father of one of the boys killed by the W. Memphis 3 actually was the murderer. Liberal Media reporting is alwasy ONE SIDED!

The General wanted the troops for 2010, he answered the request in time.

I read his post im trying to figure out where racism came into play. Is it just because he criticized a black man, that makes this racist? Come on people if you want to put down a mans opinion lets not pull the race battle into it to stir up controversy. Whether you like his opinion or not that is his opinion. Drop it people, news media. Lets talk about why people are being victimized daily by crime in memphis metro or something else newsworthy. This is perfect example of "making a mountain out of a molehill"
I think racial people get into stuff like this, they want to feed the fire. Instead they should figure out that no one's any better than anyone else out there. Focus on what can make this area better and safer. While all of you are online and posting why not find your state representative on line and send and email about the crime going on not just here but everywhere, we should work hard to make this a better and safer place for our children and grandchildren.

Give me a break, don't we still have freedom of speech in this country..
America the beautiful, land of the act of freedom of speech no matter how ignorant it may sound. Never have I been so embarrassed to live in America than now. All of the racism and ignorance are at its peak. If we don't learn to support Mr. Obama we will continue to be attacked by everyone and even ourselves. Divide and conquer has always worked in times of confusion and discord. Wake up those of you who support people who live behind the notion of freedom of speech. Come on "Peanuts" freaking "Charlie Brown". The entire world is watching.

I completely agree! And because one person is sitting at home in his spare time and makes a personal opinion on his personal page it becomes newsworthy..... This is a serious case of people blowing things out of porportion!

1. What happens on facebook should stay on facebook.

2. You just watch: this mayor will turn this unfortunate media lynching into something meaningful and positive. Count on it.

elgoogrb: Your pithy comments would find a better audience on a bathroom wall.

Mr. Wiseman is entitled to his opinion about the leader of this nation. The tie in between Charlie Brown's x-mas special and the President's message escapes me, but that is his connection, not mine.

I'll bet that we are not getting the rest of the story.

How many time did people say negative things about Bush and the press did not show it on the news? I support Wiseman and his comments.

This comment is from a Christian for Christians
God says all rulers are ordained by God (Romans13:2 and commands us to respect them all 1 Peter 2; 13-15 and also commands us to pray for them. The Romans passage was written in the midst of Roman pagan rule. God wanted Obama to win, just as he did Bush 2, Clinton, Bush1, Reagan, Carter on and on.
How many of you who constantly critisize President Obama have PRAYED FOR HIM? He won..now God expects us to SUBMIT TO HIS LEADERSHIP,AND PRAY FOR HIM. If you don't...you are just as guilty of sin as you accuse him to be.

GOD BLESS

Daily Horoscope for December 4

Sagittarius

You're in a sensitive mood today, so you need to choose the company you keep very carefully. Resist the urge to believe only what you want to believe and to disregard the rest, even if something is so obvious that it's staring you in the face. Do not bury your head in the sand or avoid anything unpleasant, because you'll have to face it sooner or later. The more you resist doing this now, the more difficult things may be further down the line.
