A couple of quick notes on this Monday evening. The first is not directly related to an NFC South team, but it's related to an NFC South region and it's sad news.

Wide receiver Randy Moss , who sat out last season, celebrated his 35th birthday Monday by saying he wants to play in the NFL in 2012.

The week is starting off quietly in the NFC South, but it won't stay that way for long.

Here's my latest batch of Paw Prints starting with some 2012 predictions that in my view do not measure up: First glance at 2012 playoff teams - NFC South Blog - ESPN The Carolina Panthers are predicted to go 7-9. Again, that's possible.

Bucs lost ten in a row. They need a run stopper, and fast. Morris Claiborne is higher up in the talent pool, and they took DE Adrian Clayborn in last year's first round, but a good tackling DE in a 4-3 scheme will take precedence for the Bucs.
