Connecticut defensive end Cody Brown was hanging out with a couple old teammates from Coral Springs when he got the call A- the Arizona Cardinals were taking him with the next-to-last pick of the second round at the NFL Draft on Saturday night.

I hope this young man does well in the NFL. I met him when he first showed up at Coral Springs High School as a new student. He was always a polite, friendly and well mannered young man who never got in trouble and was a very good student. I followed his career at UConn and I believe he will work hard for Arizona and be a productive player for them. Cody I am very proud of you!!!
