I've never heard of another cat named Basil, but we buried our cat named Basil after 21 years of faithful and efficient vole and shrew patrol.

Oh I've been around purpling up the place. Cute name for a cat. It is a wonder there aren't any green cats the way scientists like to play around with genes.

I'm sorry for your loss. He sounds like he was an excellent pet as well as providing pest control.Couldn't ask for more.What a great cat!

Strip them bare, tie them to a tree, give them multiple lashes with cat-o-nine-tails until they bleed than throw rubbing alcohol on their bleeding wounds.

Then toss their butts into prison and tell the animal lovers there-and there are people in prison who love animals more than humans-what they did.
