No they do not have to be in water, they are lizards, not salamanders. They eat blossoms, leaves, fruits, vegetables and the occasional insect or small animal.

Now that the iguanas have joined forces with the squirrels and owls, we're doomed!

We need to be respectful, he was part of FPL's Quality Assurance Team and died in the line of duty. FPL has suffered a tragic loss...

You mean a critter as simple as this has the ability to kill not only itself but power to 20,000 homes? Some one better notify homeland security they could learn something from this creature

You've got to give him credit, he didn't just die like the others by eating the wrong food or getting burned on a heat rock. No, he climb that pole and went out with a BOOM. Now he will be in FP&L's history books forever. Also FP&L can expect a visit from PETA.

Yes-now peta will be pulling the plug on power everywhere-

during heatwaves-killing hundreds of innocent people-during cold spells-old folks dying-

because an iguana died....

PETA-people eating tasty animals....

LMAO--

Maybe the puppy ate the iguana-

Thats it-get all the animal rights activists together-whichever animal is more endangered (the iguana)-then well-I guess we must HANG the puppy for animal cruelty!

I'm glad someone admits Iguana eat small animals, I saw one chase down a lizard and swallow it. All my friends swear they are vegatarians. These things should be irradicated. I'd love the job if it pays well, provides me with a county truck and boat, a couple weapons, and free fuel.
