USDA: Wet weather slowing corn planting
“There's a lot of demand for corn. And even if they don't have subsidies, if ethanol producers can make a buck or a dime or a nickel processing corn they're going to process it.”
Corn production this year could be down as much as 7 percent from the record-breaking heights of 2007, according to a U.S. Department of Agriculture report released Friday. via WSVN-TV Miami Beach
