McCain courts Hispanic voters

On Cinco de Mayo, John McCain reached out today to Hispanic voters, launching a Spanish-language campaign website and acknowledging that Latinos had been discouraged by the harsh anti-immigration tone during ...

Another lie from McAmnesty. Even the liberal blog Huffington's post noticed this fact.

I just did and totally agree. I'd previously posted on this, but someone apparently didn't like what I wrote. Check out McCain to attend convention of 'reconquist' group. If this isn't enough for all of us who may have at one time supported McCain, not to any longer, I don't know what it'll take. He's split the nation. San Diego is a good place for LaRaza's convention.

And this is what makes me sick to my stomach about Juan McAmnesty. How in God's Holy name can I vote for this idiot who wants to hand over control to Mexico as fast as possible. Our only chance here is to give McAmnesty a conservative Congress that will block his efforts to destroy the country. This guy is a patriot? All due respect for his service, but that was then, this is now, and he's lost his mind when it comes to immigration policy.

McCain Argued for Amnesty in 2003 Congressional Statement
HEARING OF THE SENATE COMMERCE, SCIENCE AND TRANSPORTATION COMMITTEE, Federal News Service Transcrip ^| April 9, 2003 Wednesday | SENATOR JOHN MCCAIN (R-AZ)

Posted on 01/06/2008 12:49:59 PM CST by Wallaby

Secretary Ridge, I'd just like to mention one aspect of your responsibilities this morning. And, as you know, it's not often that I discuss issues that relate to my home state. But I did have the privilege of accompanying Deputy Undersecretary Asa Hutchinson and other outstanding public servants to the Arizona-Mexico border a few weeks ago with other members of the delegation, including Senator Kyl and House members. And I invite you to come when things calm down a bit, because I think it's important for you to be able to see long, long distances of border which are unsecured between our two countries.... And I know you'll agree with me that one of our first responsibilities is to secure our borders.

And may I just add an additional comment? If it were just securing our borders, then I think your task would be easy. But like the case with drugs, we are creating a demand. There are jobs that Americans won't do, so Mexican citizens will try to come across -- and Central Americans and others -- will try to come across our borders so they can be able to feed themselves and their families, which argues for amnesty programs, guest worker programs, et cetera. And I think that that has to be a priority of the Congress and the administration, because I don't believe, as we have proven in the war on drugs, that we are ever going to keep people from crossing our borders, as long as there is an incentive for them to come across. But I don't have to tell you, Mr. Secretary, the potential this has for the ability of people with evil intentions to come into the United States of America and do bad things.

Ah, Senator McSpain, brown nosing again. Courting those McSpanic's just for the vote.
Don't care which candidate is elected President and what they try to do, it has to get through Congress and the Senate first, last time they tried so many angry citizen's contacted them the phone system crashed. Our elected officals are nothing if not narcistic, like their jobs and want to keep them. If last time created such an uproar, can't wait to see what happens when they are dumb enough to try again.

Yes, we citizens sure did let our collective voices be heard, and we will do it again if necessary.

How is it that the makers of the vodka, Absolut, know that we have been invaded but Bush, McCain, Obama and Clinton don't.

America would be well served if those 4 PATHETIC LOSERS would fly over to Sweden for a seminar on "How to notice an 800 pound gorilla in the room"

Sadly, these four clowns are nothing more than RUBBER STAMPS for the open-borders ESTABLISHMENT.

They ALL make promises to the voters they CAN'T KEEP. Ironically, the "Absolut" best strategy to SAVE THE ECONOMY woulb be to withdraw our troops from Iraq and build them up on the Mexican border.

Remember when Mexican president fox threatened Pat Bucannan's life on the Larry King show? I sure do. Larry King ask Fox what he thought about then 2000 presidential candidate Pat Bucannan's idea of putting troops on the border and Fox's response was, "And he is still alive". If any of us had said about a candidate "and he is still alive" we would have been charged with making terrorist threats. I know I had been threatened with that charge just for a wrong look toward someone a open borders type supported. Terrorist threats charges were on the books in 2000.

I was wondering how long it would take for insane McCain to show his "true colors."

And what was it he kept saying? "I've got the message, my friends."

Well Juan McNasty..."we've got your message too."

"You're more interested in pandering and catering to hordes of non-citizen lawbreakers than standing up for your fellow Americans.

"That, my friend...will be your downfall!"

You got that right!
The voices of the American people were in that Senate.
The will of the American people trumped the will of leadership.
It will be necessary again too...from the looks of things.
We need to start now! This is total madness.
Our leaders are suppose to protect and defend us...not Mexico!

Don't feel bad...I refused to vote for any of these idiots.
Ron Paul was on the ballot...I voted for him.
I know he doesn't stand a chance, but I would not waste my vote on these other fools.
I still can't understand why the American people would not support the candidates who were going to address this illegal immigration mess with enforcement of our laws.
It's mind boggling that any American would not support someone who wants to look out for their best interest.
Do these people even have a clue as to what they are doing to this country when they want to elect a leader who is so out of touch with reality?

Good point Chaz, but it's also important to remember that undocumented immigrants pay taxes also. Most have jobs or they wouldn't be here and most have fake social security numbers or they wouldn't have jobs. Undocumented immigrants pay taxes on a greater portion of their income than most U.S. citizens and they receive the least from our government.
What clueless moron wrote this cr@p?!?! My paycheck is taxed by 45%(Federal, State, SS, Medicare)! After my money is taxed to hell THEN I pay property and sales tax.

This country is so screwed!

First Jorge Bush, now Juan McCain, both of these losers will do all they can to legalize these dumbass illegals.

These two morons push and fight for more illegals because their rich buddies want illegals here to continue to suppress wages. Those rich idiots could care less that the rest of the country become third world. They are invisable to us yet they impact our country tremendously through idiot front men like Bush and McCain, as a matter of fact through all polilticians.

McAmnesty will never stop pushing for more mexicans.
We need 20 million uneducated mass baby making illegal aliens like we need holes in our heads.

Mexico and illegal aliens are a bigger threat to this country than iraq or iran, wake up people !

Clinton did the same thing and ironically very few news sources covered it.

Clinton went to speak at a Hispanic gathering of cleaning women basically - hotel workers. She rallied them and not one picked up on the derrogatory message she sent.

Clinto said it was time to pick up the mops and buckets and clean house in DC. It is not just McCain courting the Hispanic vote.

Obama, addressing the National Council of La Raza's annual convention in
Miami Beach last week, called the debate that defeated the Senate
immigration bill "both ugly and racist in a way we haven't see since the
struggle for civil rights" and pointed to his marching in the May 2006
immigration rallies in his appeal for the group's support.

"Find out how many senators appeared before an immigration rally last year,"
he said. "Who was talking the talk, and who walked the walk ? because I
walked.

"I didn't run away from the issue, and I didn't just talk about it in front
of Latino audiences."
