Auto insurers marketing to illegal aliens

As usual, making money trumps the law and any sense of national pride.

This is what is at the root of the illegal immigration issue.

Also at the root of illegal immigration is the Catholic churches policies on birth control and therefore overpopulation by humans.

Unbelievable. When they discovered it wasn't illegal, they went for it?? Why doesn't this fall under the aiding, abetting and encouraging category? And how on earth do you determine coverage for someone who has no license and may or may not be who they even say they are? That sounds like the perfect way to collect premiums and then absolve yourself of any responsibility to pay a claim. "You were hit by Jose Gomez? Our records show that car is insured by Juan Gomez. Sorry, we're not paying you. You were not hit by our insured, so screw you."

Oh wow. I just called Progressive to see if I could get a policy with a valid license. When I told them I had no bank account they referred me to one of their local agents. I called them and told them I needed car insurance, but before I got the quote, I needed to ask a question. I then told them I had no driver's license, so the girl asked me if the car was registered. I told her it used to be, but once I lost my license it couldn't be registered anymore. She said it could be tricky, but she was sure Progressive could help me. She put me on hold while she checked and in two minutes came back and told me that if I could get someone I knew with a license would agree to be added to my policy, they be happy to sell me a policy. One with my name on so I could drive the car. I told her I would ask around and call them back when I found someone willing to do it. Unfuckingbelievable.

Oops...that should have read "without a valid license" at the beginning. Sorry.

I just emailed my insurance company telling them I will not be renewing.

Sounds like it's time to call the Insurance Comm. Office!!! This has to be illegal. Of course once again---a large Corporate entity selling us out and our government is sitting by and letting it happen!!

This is why it's more important to punish the companies that hire and cater to illegals than to simply deport the illegals themselves. It's like cleaning up the house to keep the roaches away. Killing the roaches doesn't take away the reason they're in your house in the first place. Until we punish the illegal employers and businesses (Credit Card Cos. and Insurance Cos.) that cater to illegals, we're just stepping on roaches.

Ok, on what thread is that section on the aiding and abbeting illegals - the one with the actual number of the statute? This needs to be mailed to not only the insurance commissioner in every state but also the managers of these companies.

if take a walk along any main street in any town in massachusetts, you would find several agencies with signs posted in portuguese, spanish and english trying to lure potential customers in...and to those who are a bit afraid , they also offer guidance in how to avoid being arrested, as well as an explanation about your rights if you come to a police stop. Money talks quite loud, you morons. No one cares about you filthy lives, your disappointment with your very own failures...so take the blame..do not blame illegal immigrants...if an illegal immigrant took your job, he is just BETTER than you.

You certainly can, if you're a legal citizen and have good driving record. I have no problem with that, but we do have immigration laws to protect this nation for a reason. If you're a citizen then the laws were written to protect you too!! If you are not legal, then this country owes you nothing!! IT'S THE LAW!! They were written to be followed not to be BROKEN like some may believe!!

I take RESPONSIBILITY not BLAME!! I'm perfectly aware that I for one was quiet too long. I'm changing that now and telling the powers in DC that I want our nations laws enforced, and you what----THEY'RE LISTENING!!!

Anyone know how many auto related deaths due to illegals without a license, but with auto insurance it'll take to bankrupt these companies? Poor planning on the insurance companies' parts all in the name of greed!
