Anti-Gay Group Sues to Stop Wisconsin Domestic Partnerships

I always find it so ironic that whenever there is some group in the way of equality, their name almost always contains the word "family" despite their sheer desire to tear families apart.

I'm continually in awe of these people that claim they're "protecting" their own families by economically and legally destroying other ones. I just don't get it.

How scared and stupid does a person have to be to think that passing laws that force unnecessary hardships on others will somehow help them? Or that the other families will somehow just disappear? That they'll stop loving each other? And that's a good thing??

Why do they bother........if they are not fighting to end divorce or adultery?

Oh, that's easy. Because divorce and adultery are two things they hold near and dear to their hearts and cherish above even their own families! If they didn't want to reserve those two things for themselves, they would be fighting against them, wouldn't they??

It's happy, well-adjusted gay people that they fear most of all. Our existance is proof positive that their religious beliefs are wrong. They hate that.

With all the tragedy and need in this world, THIS is what they focus on. I think it speaks volumes about some people's hearts and souls. But then again Jesus did say, The first shall be last and the last shall be first. I think this group needs to focus on their own family's dirty laundry before they tell any one else how to live. When you are sinless, you can tell me about my sins. Until then, STFU! Don't forget to have you own plea ready for judgement day.

I hope their lawsuit backfires on them and they end up causing the State's current DOMA laws to be declared unconstitutional.

Of course if that happens they will blame the "activist judges" and complain about the "will of the people". Which of course is ironic since the people, via their duly elected representatives, passed this domestic partnership bill in the first place.

WFA is a 501(c)(4) organization for purposes of the IRS, which means gifts and contributions to WFA are not tax deductible. WFA receives no state or federal funding. It relies on the gifts of people who believe in its work in the public policy arena of Wisconsin. Gifts to WFA are not reportable to the general public.

Marriage/Divorce

The government should promote the institution of marriage in society, as this provides a strong foundation for our society's families. Further, we support efforts to define marriage as being between one man and one woman. We also support initiatives to reduce the incidence of divorce in society.
