Barack Obama arrives in Britain to meet with Gordon Brown

He hasn't, as yet, given an interview to a foreign newspaper. He doesn't, as far as I know, have any foreign press on his plane on this trip. He has received many requests by foreign journalists to accompany him on his travels in the US, but has turned them all down.

This is strikingly different from John McCain.

Perhaps Obama doesn't want to face the sort of questions he fears might be put to him - on free trade, on Iraq, and on how his foreign policy would differ from George Bush's.

I am happy for them. I have talked to a lot of the "sane" Brits on this site (those who did not belong to the Labour Party)---and they were very sad, discouraged, sickened by what was happening there!!!

It is refreshing to see that our British friends are waking up. They are slowly losing their culture and country because of the United Kingdoms open door immigration policy. Which results in mass immigration of a group of people who go there with no intention of assimilating or working. They just head there to suck up welfare, housing and try and impose Islam on the Brits. A lot of this has to do with the weak kneed Labour Party which constantly caters to Islam, no matter how it effects the rest of the people there. The Labour Party is clearly on their way out. Since they love Islam so much, I suggest they be forced to spend some time in the Middle East. Lets see how much they get catered to.

You don't seem to understand. Blacks still deal with residue from slavery in the year 2008. The Arabs and African chiefs that sold slaves at the beginning to the white men did not keep us enslaved in the United States for centuries. Nor did they stop us from receiving the privileges that whites take as a given. Also they didn't fight a war in the US to keep slavery as a right of some states. You of course know history and what has happen to blacks all the way to now. These two words are racism and discrimination. Of course all whites are not these things however still to many people still cling to these ideologies.
