1 (The Math that is so often touted by Senator Obama and his supporters to essentially steal this nomination….what ever happened to one person—one vote?) Senator Clinton scored victories in Ohio (10%), Texas (4%), and Pennsylvania (10%)....but due to the Democrats’ quirky rules, those three large states added up to a net gain of only 14 delegates for Senator Clinton — an advantage all but offset alone by Senator Obama’s single win in South Carolina, a net pickup of 13 delegates for him there. So...Senator Clinton's wins in the 2nd, 6th, & 7th largest states were all but overshadowed by Senator Obama's single win in the 24th largest state. It's no wonder Senator Obama and his supporters are so in love with this "fuzzy" pledged delegate math. Primary Pondering What if ...? By Bill Whalen http://article.nationalreview.com/... Another Case in Point: If you look at the total electoral college votes from states won to date, here’s the breakdown: CLINTON: 300 OBAMA: 217 Source: http://www.diversityj.com/ElectoralVoteStates... Now……how is it again that Senator Obama is supposedly the front runner in this nomination process??? GO HILLARY!!!! You are currently ahead in the popular vote and will add to your lead by the end of the primary season. LET THE PEOPLE SPEAK AND HAVE THEIR VOTES COUNTED!!! |

2 Had our votes been counted following our (FL & MI) primaries, the race would have had a totally different tone and we'd have a very different result today. The DNC threw Hillary under the bus more than Obama threw his Grandma and "Uncle" Jeremiah under his bus when it was politically advantageous. We can also blame the DNC when the Republicans take the White House again in November. |

2 So why not end the dispute over Florida and Michigan. Obama should agree to count those votes as long as he doesn't need them anyway. |

1 The whole primary season was just a sham with the superdelegates sitting in the wings working their deals. That doesn't mean Hillary has to win. It just means that you've been had. Wouldn't you like to know the deals that are being cut as we speak. Hillary steps aside but is the "real" president, just like she was with Clinton. She picks Obama's staffers and major appointments. He picks the federal dog-catching secretary. He smiles. She smiles. You smile. Kool-Aid?? |

1 Everyone agreed that these states shouldn’t count. The states new what would happen if they didn’t follow the process. Complain to the states; don’t change the rules mid process. |

1 The major issue should be whether the US Constitution protecting the rights of individual voters in the US is being violated and what should be done to correct this blatant violation of US Constitution. Rights of Voters in Michigan and Florida Must be Respected The disenfranchisement of the citizens in Florida and Michigan in the Democratic primary is a farce which demonstrates how the voting rights of millions of voters can be illegally stripped away by political manipulation of the legislators of an opposing party and/or due to the mistakes of the legislators of the Democratic Party in those states. Most of the voters, especially those in Florida, had no idea at all that their votes would end up in the gutter when they exercised their Constitutional Right to vote in good faith just because the state legislators voted to hold the Democratic primary earlier than allowed by the Democratic National Committee. Individual citizens had no choice but to participate in those primary elections even when they happened to know about the possible consequence of the primaries being held earlier than allowed by the DNC. Evidently the rule of the primary election has been broken so someone should be responsible for the wrong-doing. Since the state legislators are the ones who committed the wrong-doing, they are the ones who should be punished. Of course, the most reasonable solution that conforms to the law and can make sure that the Constitutional Rights of individual citizens to vote are not violated is to declare the 2008 Democratic primaries already held in those two states ahead of the official date nullified and set new dates for the official primaries which conform to the rule of the DNC as well as the US Constitution. If this blatant violation of the Constitution is not proper dealt with, it will open the Constitution to further violations and manipulations in future elections. Any Democrats who has the right to vote in those two states and who (1)did not know the state legislators had broken the DNC rule by changing the date of the primary, or (2) who knew about the change of date but had to vote on the date disapproved by the DNC because it was the only Democratic primary approved by the state, may file a federal lawsuit against the Democratic National Committee for violating their First Amendment Right that protects their freedom of speech in choosing a presidential candidate and the Fourteen Amendment Right of due process from being punished for the wrong-doing of the state legislators. Any 2008 Democratic presidential nominee chosen by the super-delegates before any such lawsuit is settled or before the Democratic primaries are re-held by a state with any such lawsuit in progress is a contempt of the law and the candidate is an illegitimate candidate challengeable by law. |
