There's no rest for the wary at TCU.
The hours leading up to tonight's Selection Monday announcement will be anxious ones for coach Jeff Mittie and his Lady Frogs.
Mittie spent half the night Saturday analyzing his team's chances of making the 64-team field for the NCAA Tournament. He did more studying on the three-hour plane ride home from Las Vegas.
The bottom line: It's going to be another manic Monday for the Lady Frogs.
'We wanted our own night [for women's basketball] with Selection Monday, but I think it's a horrible idea now because all it does is extend the agony,' Mittie said. 'You never feel good in this situation. The way I've got it, there's 18 or 19 teams going for nine spots.' Read more
