Notre Dame makes an appearance at #23 in the AP Top 25 poll this week, one of three new teams.

It has been announced that the Mountain West Conference and Conference USA will officially merge together to create one conference beginning as early as the 2013-2014 season.

It was a special moment on a special night ... a time to honor former Miner greats on a night when UTEP was able to grind out an overtime win against Tulane.

It's fair to say that Southern Miss has established itself as the best team in Conference USA, and its just as fair to say that at this point the Memphis Tigers are the only other team in the same ball park.

The latest ESPN/USA Today Coaches' Poll has been released, and our Lady Miners have received 8 top 25 votes.

Louisville, who enters the AP Top 25 at #24 this week, leads two new teams in the poll.

The UTEP men's and women's basketball teams have taken completely different tracks this season, and their records will attest to that.
