It has been a busy year for junior wide receiver Richard Jackson. The former East Ridge High School standout transferred to the University of Central Florida from Notre Dame last year for personal reasons, but has not looked back since giving up an opportunity to play for one of the most tradition-rich football programs in the country.

Dr. Phillips senior wide receiver Kenny Shaw is one of 23 players -- and the only Central Florida player -- listed so far on the roster for the Champion Gridiron Kings, a high school football event scheduled for July 23-25 at Disney's Wide World of Sports .
