It doesnt matter which Qb starts against OSU because the aggies will take lickin but its disappointing that Walker chooses not to start Walls in front of his family and friends. He says Fleming has bigger play making ability with his legs but yet is only averagin 2.8 yards a carry, dont see how that is possibly a factor against OSU. Say it once and said it again, we already have an established running game, we dont need a running qb or we become exactly what we were with Mumme; a one dimensional offense. Except this time around we cant put points in the board. Give Walls a chance to throw and stop being fools

Don't worry Jesus they both will get playing time.

Its not about playing time, its about sticking with a QB. Fleming had his chance to win the QB battle and he didnt do jack. People can argue that Walls hasnt done much either and he hasnt. But Fleming got the plays that suited him,running ones, and he still didnt do much with the ball. On the other hand, Walls who is a passer has to row against the fact that Rosie calls limited passing plays and instead continues to call runnin plays. Its a joke

I agree with Hay Zeus, I see Fleming more effective as a wideout. It would be nice to see both of them on the field at the same time.

EVL is correct! Fleming would work out more as a tall slot receiver! The Fleming experiment was over after week 3! You put the freshman in and let him learn to be the QB of this team! One thing about NFL coaches is that they have no patience with their key people. In college football you need to develop the QB and watch him grow! All this yanking is crushing the kids confidence!!! Walkers job is secure for a while! I guess if will be Tanners job next year so it will not matter much what happens with Walls or Fleming! |

Walker is pathetic. Last week Walls was only allowed one interception before he was pulled. Fleming already has an interception and a fumble but yet he is still in the game and we have a total of 33 yards. Yup big threat right there Coach.

isn't pathetic walls is to slow to deal with the pressure that Ohio St. brings. Fleming is more mobile and can buy a little more time to try and make something happen.

Really? I guess things happened when Fleming was starting in the first games of the season? I guess things happened last week when he was put in because Im pretty sure the score board didnt move past 3. I guess things are happening right now with 41 total yards,.7 yards per pass and 2.1 yards per carry. You're right something is happening...good job buddy |

Walls would not be able to throw because he doesnt have protection or time to = sacks, he is more pocket passer. Did you forget they are playing THE OHIO ST.? The D-line is to fast im not saying Flemming is making something happen he is able to buy a little more time to try! The offense is terrible no matter who is at QB.

The offense is terrible no matter which qb plays. Walls just fumbled after a sack adding another td for OSU. Im not saying that Walls is the savior of NMSU football. Im saying that you need to be fair with the qb situation. If walls gets benched after one turnover and a little more than a quarter of play last week why does Fleming get two turnovers and 2 1/2 quarters of play today? Be fair.

its not about being fair its about what gives you the best shot to win and be successful the 2 QB system doesn't work for Walls to be successful he needs time to throw Ohio St. collapses the pocket fast, thats why Flemming is the better choice this game he gives them the best shot because he can extend the play a little longer even though he can't hit a wide open reciever.

Fleming will always get a free pass because he is a Rosenbach recruit. The reality is that the offensive play calling is horrible! Rosenbach is not a good play caller! He seems to call the same plays at same exact situations. It is like showing what you’re going to run to the opposite Defensive Coordinator! Instead of modifying the offense around the particular QB, he is suborned into running the same lame calls!!!
|
|||
Finally someone else sees the same problem. On third and 10, we always seem to call a 3 yard pass. Whatever quarterback is in there with the plays that are being called is bound to lose. Get rid of Rosenbach!!! |
