Tigers up 7-3 at end of half

At the end of the first half of play, the LSU Tigers are ahead of the Alabama Crimson Tide 7-3. The first quarter was scoreless, but the second quarter brought an LSU touchdown pass by Jordan Jefferson to Deangelo Peterson and an Alabama field goal by Leigh Tiffin.
