The Buffs will be better than they were last year in numerous areas , but that might not translate to more wins.

Sled Allen, a 6-foot-5 shooting guard from Austin, Texas, told the Daily Camera on Thursday that he is planning on playing basketball at Colorado as a walk-on. However, it is premature to pencil Allen's name into the CU roster.

Kathy McConnell-Miller has been named the associate head coach for the women's basketball program at the University of Pittsburgh.

A University of Colorado quarterback and a former CU football player appeared in court Monday on assault charges stemming from a fight on Saturday that injured an Air Force cadet.

"You have to be relentless," Colorado men's basketball coach Tad Boyle told me. "You can't take a day off from that.
