Not long after BYU quarterback Taysom Hill trudged off the field at water-logged Scott Stadium in Charlottesville a little more than a year ago, offensive coordinator Robert Anae noted that Hill's uniform "seemed to be the dirtiest." As a team, the Cougars didn't play cleanly.

BYU Women's Soccer: Cougars beat up #23 Long Beach State

After finding their offense in a loss to LSU on Thursday, the Cougars came back and beat the 23rd ranked 49ers by a score of 2-0 and improved to 2-3-2 on the season. . BYU controlled the game from start to finish as they almost doubled up Long Beach State in shots and in shots on goal.
