A New Orleans jury decided Tuesday evening that a 20-year-old man planned and committed an armed robbery that Tulane University linebacker Trent Mackey is also charged with orchestrating.

Mackey said last month he is eager to defend his charges with hopes of returning to the Green Wave program in time for fall camp.
