Fresno State football: Offensive emphasis on better execution
With quarterback Derek Carr, running back Robbie Rouse and Davante Adams, Fresno State did a lot of good things on offense last season in winning a share of the Mountain West Conference football title -- the Bulldogs were 12th in the bowl subdivision in passing offense, 16th in total offense and 17th in scoring.

Fresno State continued to tinker with its offensive line trying to find a combination that line coach Cameron Norcross said would make the Bulldogs more explosive up front, and true freshman Alex Fifita will get an opportunity this week to prove he is ready to be a key piece to the puzzle.
