Oregon quarterback Jeremiah Masoli has been named to the watch list for the Davey O'Brien award , which goes annually to the nation's best college quarterback.

Name ANY other team that is playing 5 yes 5 top 25 pre season teams...USC, Boise St., Utah, Cal, Oregon st..Not to mention 2 out of 3 nonconference games are against 2 top 25 teams; Boise st. and Utah which had a combined record of 25-1 in 2008 to include humiliation of Alabama. Sec power-house Florida has (17-19) Troy, Charleston S., and Florida Intl....a joke! Masoli and the Ducks can take the pack 10 title as well as a national contender with a shedule like that. I'm thinking Davey O'Brien award would be nice frosting to a Lagerette Blount Heisman. GO DUCKS!!!!!!

LaGarrette Blount & LaMichael James will be a great 1-2 punch out of the backfield this year.
