The New England Patriots today released long snapper Nathan Hodel, leaving the job to rookie Jake Ingram, formerly of the University of Hawaii.
Ingram deal no snap but now completed
The Patriots signed long snapper Jake Ingram yesterday. The sixth-round pick from the University of Hawaii is the 11th of the team's 12 draft picks to come to terms.
Ingram's choice of position was hardly a snap decision. Tall, fair-skinned, with hair pulled back in a ponytail not what comes instantly to mind when one envisions the quintessential Hawaiian look.
