Urban Meyer, who was admitted to a hospital because of chest pains following the Southeastern Conference championship game, is stepping down as Florida's football coach.

Florida coach Urban Meyer moved quickly to fill one of his staff vacancies. Meyer hired Central Michigan assistant Zach Azzanni to be the team's receivers coach Friday.
