Meineke Car Care Bowl: Minnesota vs. Texas Tech

The Tommy Tuberville era is over for Texas Tech. Former star quarterback Kliff Kingsbury takes over, although offensive line coach Chris Thomsen will be the man on the sidelines during the bowl game.

Minnesota wilts in loss to Michigan State

The University of Minnesota qualified for a football bowl game three weeks ago. The Gophers eagerly pointed to the 15 extra practices they'll benefit from over the next month and after their last two performances, they sure need a lot of work.
