ECU enjoying more success than ACC counterparts
I need to be careful just what I say about East Carolina football. Two years ago after the Pirates beat North Carolina 34-31 in Greenville, I wrote what I thought was a fairly complementary column about the ECU football program, only to have the Dispatch sports department inundated with angry e-mailers telling me how stupid I was.
