Huskers Celebrate 2008-09 at Year-End Banquet
LINCOLN, Neb., April 15 -- The University of Nebraska issued the following news release: The Nebraska men's basketball team gathered one last time to celebrate a successful 2008-09 campaign on Wednesday at the Huskers' year-ending banquet.

During a recent Big 12 Conference coaches teleconference, Nebraska coach Doc Sadler joked that his squad this year is "finally going to look like a college basketball team." His 2008-2009 Cornhuskers earned the dubious distinction of the nation's shortest team, but an influx of new, taller talent could help fix that issue.
Former Husker basketball player arrested for drunk driving
Former Nebraska basketball player Steve Harley was arrested early Saturday on suspicion of driving under the influence.
