Cowboys show age in exhibition win Cowboys show age in win
Oklahoma State fields the youngest basketball team in the Big 12. The Cowboys played like it during stretches of an exhibition finale Tuesday night, but got big performances from James Anderson and Matt Pilgrim to post a 97-55 victory over Dillard University, an NAIA school from New Orleans.
Most first-year head coaches go through at least one rebuilding phase. Not so for Oklahoma State coach Travis Ford, who suggests the Cowboys have skipped straight to reloading.
