After guiding the Bucknell men's basketball program through its winningest three-year stretch in program history, head coach Dave Paulsen signed a new five-year contract today, director of athletics and recreation John Hardt announced.

The 2013 men's and women's basketball season showcased several great highlights, and all were shown on Patriot League Top Plays of the Week throughout the season.

Patriot League champion Bucknell used a 19-2 run to go up six points on Butler midway through the second half, but the Bulldogs hit back and outscored the Bison 37-19 the rest of the way to record a 68-56 win in the second round of the NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Championship on Thursday at Rupp Arena.
