You wouldn't think the compassion extended so lovingly to Derek Fisher and his family that magical night a year ago could be conditionally tied to a jersey. You wouldn't think folks could choose basketball over a family's inspirational fight against its baby girl's cancer. But it came to that just six months later when thousands of Utah Jazz fans booed Fisher because he dared return as a Laker, because a search for the best medical care for his daughter led him from Salt Lake City back to Los Angeles. I think the boos are very childish and immature. I could be biased and say, "how could they boo my man, the fish" He was one of my favorite laker players. I was sad when he left the Lakers, but very happy on his return. And after finding out his reasons for returning the Lakers, made my heart go out to him and his family. And if people can't see past, the team part of it, and look at the person who fills the jersey. Then they have no business watching the tv set or filling the seat at an NBA game.

As a long time Lakers fan, and a person who has always hated the Jazz, this whole situation has angered me. I've been a Fish fan from day one and even though he wore the Jazz jersey for a year, I cheered for him as a baskeball player and person. I remember that game you mention from last year. I was actually pulling for the Jazz just for Fish.

And for Utah to do what they did, RIDICULOUS!!
