Microsoft co-founder and owner of the Seattle Seahawks, Portland Trail Blazers, etc., Paul Allen has entered into a war over a 1944 Panzer IV tank he says was bought at auction for $2.5 million for his Flying Heritage Collection by Vulcan Warbirds this past July, but was never to his museum in Everett,WA. The problem is that the Collings Foundation of Stow, MA, which originally received it as a part of a donation from the estate of Jacques M. Littlefield around that time denies that it ever sold the tank in the first place.

Pistons center Andre Drummond was an active participant in the practice's final 15 minutes, open to the media, shooting free throws and working one-on-one with U.S. assistant coach Andre Griffin.

Clippers re-sign free agent Hedo Turkoglu

The Clippers have re-signed free-agent forward Hedo Turkoglu, who played in 38 games with the team last season. The 35-year-old Turkoglu is a 14-year NBA veteran who also has played for Orlando, Phoenix, Toronto, San Antonio and Sacramento.

Report: Kobe back in Germany for knee procedure

Los Angeles Lakers' star Kobe Bryant was back in Germany this week to have his knees examined by the surgeon who performed a platelet-rich plasma treatment known as Orthokine on his right knee. Since having the procedure in October, Bryant has said his degenerative knee condition has not bothered him as much as it had in the past.
