NASCAR Sprint Cup Series drivers Dave Blaney, Tony Stewart and Kasey Kahne, 3-time and defending All Star Circuit of Champions racer Dale Blaney and New York Modified legend Jack Johnson raced at Sharon Speedway on Tuesday in the inaugural Lou Blaney Memorial Classic.

Tuesday night was a great one for area NASCAR fans. Big names in racing made a trip to Sharon Speedway to take part in the Lou Blaney Memorial Classic.

Oswego Speedway's USAC Silver Crown championship car race, scheduled for Aug. 6, has been named the Kasey Kahne "Steel Palace Classic." Kahne was a prominent name in USAC open-cockpit competition before he landed a ride in NASCAR a few seasons ago.

Dale Blaney drives the red No. 10 car. The color and number are the same that his father drove to many dirt track wins over the years.
