Producers on Monday announced that the show has recouped its $13 million initial investment after playing to sellout houses in recent months at the Stephen Sondheim Theatre.

Dates have been announced for the Boise engagement of the Tony, Grammy and Olivier Award-winning hit musical JERSEY BOYS, the story of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons, playing the Morrison Center December 2-7, 2014. JERSEY BOYS is the winner of the 2006 Best Musical Tony Award, the 2006 Grammy Award for Best Musical Show Album, the 2009 Olivier Award for Best New Musical and the 2010 Helpmann Award for Best Musical .

Bob Crewe | Singer and songwriter, 83

Bob Crewe, 83, a singer, songwriter, and producer who helped write "Big Girls Don't Cry," "Walk Like a Man," "Can't Take My Eyes Off You," and other top 10 hits for Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons in the 1960s as well as the pop-disco favorite "Lady Marmalade," died Thursday in Scarborough, Maine. The cause was complications from a fall, said his brother Daniel.

Five years ago, Caffeine & Carburetors was a small car show in downtown New Canaan, where about 30 drivers would gather outside Zumbach's Gourmet Coffee, 77 Pine St., on a Sunday morning for a cup of joe and some car talk. As the years went by, however, the event has grown so popular -- drawing hundreds of cars and thousands of people -- that the town is no longer able to staff each of the planned shows with adequate police staffing.
