Variety reports that Scarlett Johansson will make her directorial debut in the upcoming big screen has adaptation of Truman Capote 's SUMMER CROSSING.

Based on an original idea and screenplay by Favreau, the project centers on "a man who loses his chef job and starts up a food truck to reclaim his artistic promise and estranged family at the same time." Johansson will portray Molly, described as "the restaurant manager and sometimes love interest of Favreau's character, chef Carl Casper." ... (more)
