I suppose it is some indication of the immense challenge that faced the president that a witty, tongue-in-cheek letter written to the Banner by Dr. Richard Dundas supporting health care reform inspired another letter from someone who implied that he was aligning himself with mass murderers. There has got to be a point where the only response to irrational numbskulls is to ignore them and -- God willing -- we may finally be coming pretty close to that point.

Zing! Another classic line from the master.

your are talking about communism...
guess how that system ends...
something about no incentive....

want a quote:
you cant count other people's money!

Passing off the opposition to a goverment run system as supporting insurance and Pharm is disingenuous ...what part of fiscal responsibilty cast support for any side of this debate, in fact this proposition is lost by both reps and dems.

Fact is, if we never gave public money to these all street firms, we wouldnt be here...that same money could have funded public works projects that could have employed all those affected by the collapse...instead we gave it to robber barons...

the fact is that we already have a system with incentive and a safety net...what is happening now is that the safety net is being raised in the name of equality! We have the equal opportunity to succeed...no other equality is guaranteed!

A goverment has NO RIGHT to OTHER PEOPLE'S MONEY no matter how much they make!

Daily Horoscope for January 8

Aquarius

The atmosphere in the office is stressful. Learn to divide time in a planned and phased manner. Beware of starting a lot of new things but not having the time to finish any of them. Mental overload will burn your busy and chaotic schedules and health problems may crop up all of a sudden. If you party with friends this evening, don't make it too late.
